Envy the blind....
The ones who can't see
Nor even influenced
By your Reality.....
For it matters not
If you're big or small
It matters not
To the blind at all!
For in those eyes
That cannot see
Lies a world beyond
Just you and me
A world beyond
All time and space
Where there is no creed
And there is no race.
For there is no space
And there is no time
Only the freedom
Of the mind
The freedom to Know
The Insight to Feel
To comprehend truth
To know what is real
For, the tone of your skin
Or the look on your face
The expressions you paint
Then simply erase
Are never quite seen
By the blind, as you know
For they cannot be watching
All the faces you show!
Instead, with the Wisdom
Found so deep inside
They discover the truth
You think easy to hide
And yet, they can sense
In a moment or two
The false from the true
That lies hidden in you
But, the way of the Blind
Is lonely indeed
For all that they want
And all that they need
Goes silently on
In a grief that they bear
In a world that can't know
Or even much care!
So unless you discover
What I choose not to tell
Of Reality's answer
To Heaven and Hell
You'll probably question
My own state of mind
And you won't understand
Why I Envy The Blind!
